BINGHAM CHURCHES WALKING GROUP

We had a lovely sunny walk round the Attenborough Nature Reserve in November followed by an excellent lunch at the Trent Lock Inn, Long Eaton, and we continue the winter season of morning walks with a 5 mile one in the Cropwell Butler area on Saturday January 14th followed – as usual – by a pub lunch.

As always bring the boots and wrap up warmly, pack the coffee and a chocolate biscuit and meet at 8.55am outside Old Church House in East Street ready for a prompt departure at 9.00am.

Transport is usually available for those without cars but if you can bring one it would be appreciated. We try to share cars where possible for financial and environmental reasons. If it is not required it can be left behind.

Do come and join us and blow the cobwebs away!

Don’t forget that our annual planning meeting will be held on Saturday January 7th at 11 Grove Road. The format will be the same as last year – assemble at 10.30am for coffee then decide who is going to lead which walks, where, so do come prepared with some good suggestions. The meeting will be followed by a shared lunch (bring food) and then some social time. If you are unable to attend but have walk suggestions to make then please let Anthony (875 968) have them beforehand.
